What's new in this version:
Improved Material Design Support:
- We have added some controls and properties to make it easier to create designs inspired by Material Design.
A new generic Smartphone control:
- Check it out! You'll no longer have to use an iPhone or download a stencil from Mockus To Go.
- Thanks to all the folks that requested this here and anyone else who has written in about this feature.
A new Circle Button control, with lots of options:
- Sliders now have three thumb options, and support for color
- We had some users report that drag+drop wasn't working in macOS Sierra, which shipped yesterday. We scrambled to find a workaround, and we did!
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes:
- Updated the Tree control to use FontAwesome icons.
- Fixed an issue with creating a text link to a new mockup in the Text control.
- Fixed an issue with the button icon color when the button is disabled and the background is dark.
- Fixed an issue with the order of icons returned by the icon inspector. Thanks RaeHanley for the bug report!
- Fixed an issue with hitting the Enter key after renaming a mockup also opening the text editor.
- Fixed scrolling to see the selected mockup on project open. Thanks Berthold for the request!

- Fixed an issue with Flickr integration no longer working in plugins.

What's new in this version:
EASIER EXPORT TO CONFLUENCE:
- We now made it easier to export a single mockup, a group of mockup or even an interactive PDF from Mockups 3 Confluence Cloud directly to the hosting Confluence content.
- Just click "Attach to Confluence" and Mockups will add your image(s) or PDF as an attachment to the page. Handy!
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES:
- You can now navigate the icon inspector pulldown with arrow keys. So quick!
- We now support renaming a mockup or symbol library with the F2 key even if the focus is on the canvas (and nothing is selected). Thanks ArcticMe and Kevin C. for requesting it!
- Fixed support for Delete and CTRL+Delete in text fields. Annoying rectangle character be gone!
- Removed the opacity slider from the inspector for Icon and Label controls (it had erroneously snuck in in 3.4.1 release).
- Fixed an issue with Quick Draw "getting stuck" in some cases when typing quickly. Thanks Russ for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with the Markup menu staying disabled if you close all project windows.
- Fixed a regression on keyboard handling on Safari.
- Fixed an issue with a progress dialog getting stuck when going fullscreen immediately after saving.

What's new in this version:
(Optional) Manual Save:
- One of the most daring features of Mockups 3 was that everything was always and immediately automatically saved to disk. We thought everyone would love the peace of mind of not having to compulsively hit CTRL+S all the time, living in fear of losing their changes.
- It turns out, while most of you really do love it, you have clearly told us that there are some cases in which automatically saving to the original file all the time is not the right thing to do.
- For instance, sometimes you want to just muck around some wireframes knowing that you'll be able to discard your changes easily at the end of your experimental session. Another case is when working on files stored on slow remote network drives, or busy shared folders. Saving all the time in these cases might slow you down, or generate too much network traffic. Last but not least, some of you just simply prefer to save manually: 30 years of computing and muscle-memory are hard to let go of! :)
- To help with these issues, today we are introducing the option to turn off autosave in Mockups for Desktop.
Autosaveoption:
- When automatic saving is off, you will use CTRL+S to save, and also be able to use "Reload from Disk" to quickly throw away your current set of changes.
- The setting will be remembered across restarts and across projects, so you'll only really have to set it once.
- You can now specify icons in the List control!
- This is very useful when designing Android menus, as well many more kinds of menus and lists.
- FontAwesome Updated to 4.6.3:
- Our friends at FontAwesome released an update, so we incorporated it!
- BTW, we added these new icons to myBalsamiq as well.
Auto-Recover in Case of Data Corruption:
- Just like any other file on your computer, in some rare cases our BMPR files might get corrupted.
- To help mitigate the annoyance this might cause, we added automatic local backups back in version 3.1. The backups work well and usually make it so that no work is lost, but finding the backup was a bit cumbersome.
- With today's release, we make the software do the work. When data corruption is detected, Mockups will now find the latest backed up file and recover it for you. E

- Fixed a little issue with the Open Recent menu which showed the project name instead of the file path after renaming a project. Thanks Jerome for reporting it!
- In Mockups 3 for Confluence Cloud, we now share full-screen settings between the macro, the presentation view and the mockups editor
- Fixed an issue when promoting alternates to official with markup hidden. Thank you markusku for reporting it!
- We now properly hide Quick Add in the Grid view.
- We updated the Webcam control in the Wireframe skin to be gender-neutral. Thanks Oscar G. for bring this up!
- We now allow Import JSON in Symbols as well as Mockups.
- Fixed an issue when exporting some icons to BMML.
- Fixed the title of the Rename Group dialog.
- In our web versions, we now only allow caching of the skin files once per release.

Automatic Repositioning of Aligned Labels:
- This little and nearly invisible feature will save you loads of time, especially if you create forms.
- When labels are auto-sized, we now respect their text alignment property and move them accordingly after you change the text.
- It's much easier to show than to describe, take a look:
Duplicate an Alternate As a New Mockup:
- Ever wanted to turn an alternate into its own mockup? You used to have to select all, copy, create a new mockup and paste.
- As of today, you can just select the new "Duplicate As New Mockup" feature and pronto, you're done! :)
- Are you on Windows and use a trackpad or a mouse with a mouse wheel? Or are you on Mac and use a Mighty Mouse? Then you might have gotten frustrated at our lack of support for horizontal scrolling.
- Because of the platform we're using right now, we have limited support for horizontal scrolling, but we found a compromise! Just hold SHIFT and scroll up and down, and we'll interpret it as horizontal scrolling. Yay!
A Brand New Web Demo Project:
- We spent some time to update the default project you see when you visit our Web Demo Version.
- We now show a bunch of our newest features, and teach you how to use them. We even include some sample interactive prototypes in it to use as a starting point.

- Fixed an issue with exporting PDF when a mockup contained a link with a % character in it. Thanks Jeff A. for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with links not showing up in the right place in exported PDFs when the mockups were really tall. Thanks obg for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with links in PDFs not respecting the z-Order in some cases. Thanks Luis C. and Jeff B. for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with exporting Arrow controls to BMML in some cases.
- Fixed an issue with the "remove overrides" button in the inspector maintaining focus. Thanks Kevin for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with Symbol overrides getting committed even after hitting Escape in some circumstances. Thanks for the bug report russ!
- Fixed an issue with the mockup name tooltip not refreshing immediately after a duplicate or rename operation. Thanks Samuel D. and Robson W. for reporting it!
- Fixed an issue with the Page Up and Page Down keys turning off Markup in some situations on Windows in Full Screen Presentation Mode. Thanks grebe for reporting it!
- CTRL+D now duplicates the current mockup when the focus is in the navigator. Thanks Michael H. for requesting it!
- The little helper icon next to the Links inspector pointed to a 404 page. That's now fixed.
- Fixed a strange little issue with the DataGrid showing the wrong label color in some cases. Thanks russ for the bug report!
- Added support for the {mockup-name} macro in the Browser control. A good idea by cschriemer!
- Fixed an old issue with text links when the URL contains - or _ characters. Finally!
- Fixed an issue with the Button control not showing the text if the font size was set to 30 or higher.
- We now properly center the line inside the H.Rule and V.Rule controls. Such a simple little thing, but so useful! Thanks so much ArcticMe for reporting the issue!
- Fixed an issue with the Formatting Toolbar control not exporting properly in some cases.
- Fixed a little regression in the help menu in the web versions (it was showing Register... as if it was on Desktop).
- We now default to showing all branches of the mockups navigator as being open instead of closed. It gives you a better sense of the contents and size of the project when you first open it.
- Fixed an issue with export to ZIP failing in some rare cases. Thanks for Ben G. reporting it!
- We now fully disable Quick Draw when overriding symbol instances.
