What's new in this version:

Actual Window Manager 8.14.3
- In some rare cases, running applications might crash randomly
- Actual Window Manager work might get disrupted at random moments if it was installed into an unsecured folder (i.e. other than "Program Files")
- Some applications (Adobe products, TechSmith products, Parametric Technologies products, and some others) got hung if two or more Actual Tools programs were running at once (exiting all but one Actual Tools programs made hung applications responsive back)
- Virtual Desktops: The ability is added to resize a Virtual Desktop Switcher window on-the-fly as any regular sizeable window. Set location/size are remembered (per each monitor either in Independent mode or for cloned switchers in Classic mode)

Virtual Desktops: The following bugs are fixed:
- Suspending/resuming the Actual Window Manager Control Center might cause random memory errors in the Control Center process
- An active window on a desktop did not always get foreground when switching to that desktop
- Activating a desktop by clicking empty space of its cell in the switcher forced the desktop to lose its active window (if any)
- An active window lost its activation after being moved to "all desktops" (either manually or automatically)
- Changing a mode (Classic/Independent) messed Z-order of currently open windows
- Excel 2013+ "Find and Replace" dialog disappeared after switching to another desktop and back
- Launching Mozilla Firefox on a certain desktop, then switching to another desktop and launching another Firefox instance activated the first desktop
- First virtual desktop got activated always when invoking a notification area icon's context menu for the following applications: Intel Graphics
Control Panel, Skype for Desktop, Slack for Desktop, MS Teams, KiTTY, Insync, Everything
- After switching from Classic to Independent mode, on some multi-monitor configurations two switchers might appear on the same monitor
- After changing a mode, switcher's placement stored and restored incorrect
- Tooltips with desktop names sometimes appeared in the top-left corner instead of the center
- After dragging a minimized wi- ndow's icon between switchers on different monitors the source switcher retained the icon until window's restoration
- Tabbed Explorer, Windows 10: The Search box stopped working in the tabbed
- File Explorer windows since the November update 1909 (build 18363)
- Title Buttons, Windows 10: Extra buttons looked shorter than regular ones in maximized windows of Chromium-based applications (Google Chrome, Slack
for Desktop, Vivaldi, Opera, Yandex.Browser, Spotify, etc.)

Title Buttons, Slack for Desktop: The following bugs are fixed:
- Extra buttons covered the regular ones if zero horizontal button shift was specified
- Extra buttons were almost invisible as their glyphs were of the same color as the title bar
- Window couldn't be maximized correctly if there were any extra buttons
- Title Buttons: In some rare cases, extra buttons might disappear until a window got dragged/sized
- Title Buttons: Extra buttons might either get behind their host window's title bar or get visible through other windows in the following cases:
- After minimizing and then restoring windows via Aero Shake
- After starting a capture in Windows Snipping Tool
- In Excel 2013+, after opening the "Find and Replace" dialog and then activating a main Excel window
- Window Actions: The "Block premature appearance of window" option did not work as declared in Chromium-based applications
- Window Actions: Applying the "Send to bottom" action at startup might make the Alt key appear to be pressed (actual pressing/releasing the physical
Alt key removed that effect)
- Window Actions: Custom title buttons/hotkeys for the "Run keyboard macro" action stopped working in the Default window settings
- Desktop Profiles, Configuration: The Identify button in the "Multiple
- Monitors - Desktop Profiles" panel displayed a monitor number in wrong place if monitor coordinates stored in a profile differed from actual ones
Text on buttons in the Evaluation dialog was garbled in some Asian languages (Chinese, Japanese)


Actual Window Manager 8.14.2
- Numerous fixes of runtime internals to improve speed, robustness, and reliability
- Ability to update an existing license key is added: see the "Enter new license key" item either in the "Tools - License" Configuration window panel or in the Actual Window Manager notification area icon's context menu
- Window Actions: The ability is added to keep a window always behind others - see the "Stay at bottom" item either in the "Send to bottom" title button's context menu or in the "Options - Send to bottom" submenu of window's system menu
- Window Actions: The ability is added to insert the "Minimize to tray/screen" actions into combo sequences
- Title Buttons: Automatic placement of extra buttons is restored in Google Chrome 75+
- Per-application Audio Device Switcher: Sound switching is restored in Google Chrome 76+

Virtual Desktops: The following bugs are fixed:
- The "Auto-switch desktops" feature stopped working
- In Windows 8/8.1, hidden windows on inactive desktops did not appear back after their desktop's activation
- If a window got hidden on an active desktop and then another desktop was activated, switching back to the first desktop forced the extra buttons of the hidden window appear (they looked orphaned as their master window remained invisible)
- Actual Taskbar: Action Center button in secondary taskbars did not work if the main system taskbar was hidden
- Window Actions: The "Run keyboard macro" action did not work in combo sequences
- Window Actions: A rolled up window got unrolled upon its dragging if the "Fix minimal size" action was enabled in applied window settings

Title Buttons: The following actions worked wrong after selecting them in the grouping button's context menu and then left-clicking the grouping button:
- Cut/Copy/Paste
- Manage Window Settings
- Mirror
- Move to Virtual Desktop
- Put into Divider tile
- Switch Audio Device

Windows Monitoring Log: The following bugs are fixed:
- Dragging an excluded window filled the log quickly with duplicate "New window" events
- A "Caption changed" event was always followed by the duplicate "New window" event
- The Log window itself did not appear in the log
- File Folders, Configuration: After adding a path into the Favorite Folders list via title button and then modifying it in the Configuration window, it was impossible to add that path via title button again

Configuration: The Index panel of window settings:
- Did not display specified parameters of the "Fix minimal/maximal size to" items in the Size section
- Showed internal non-localized identifiers in the Startup section after making any changes at the Startup page


Actual Window Manager 8.14.1
Important:
- Internal logic of global hook handlers is revised to improve the compatibility with the systems running on multi-core CPUs
- Title Buttons, Windows 10 build 18362+: Notepad got frozen when opened empty (i.e. with no document specified)

New:
- Window Actions: Quick copying of window-related information (like caption, class, program's executable file name) to clipboard is added. To copy the required portion of information, either right-click the Copy title button or use the "Options - Copy" submenu in the window's system menu
- Clipboard History: Saving the history to a file is added to keep it between sessions. For now, only text/formatted text entries are saved, to speed up the process and to not block the system for a long time. The history file gets encrypted to prevent unauthorized access to the stored information

Changed:
Clipboard History: Some improvements are introduced:
- now it's possible to paste a formatted text entry as plain text either by pressing Ctrl-Enter or by using the "Paste text only" command in the context menu (this command has replaced the "Clear text formatting" command). Pasting as plain text does not modify the contents of the original entry
- the selected entry is preserved after pasting it or after adding new entries
- the pasted entry becomes first in the history list if the "Auto-hide history window" option is enabled
- if a just copied piece of information is already in the history then it becomes first in the list

Fixed:
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: Action Center did not open by clicking its button in the Actual Taskbar if the "Replace the system taskbar" option was enabled
-  Virtual Desktops, Windows 10: Icons of some UWP apps did not display in the Virtual Desktop Switcher until their windows' first activation
-  Windows 10: Default icon was used for UWP apps right after their launch instead of their native icon
- Window Actions: A maximized window got restored to its normal size after minimizing it to the notification area or to the screen and then restoring it either via its own notification area icon (Windows Live Mail, Microsoft Outlook) or via "Unhide" context menu


Actual Window Manager 8.14.0
Important:
- Microsoft Office 2013+: Application windows got frozen for a long time (up to several minutes) after locking the user session and then unlocking it back

New:
- Mirroring: The long-awaited active mirroring is finally implemented. Active mirrors make the mirrored content available for mouse clicks, pen drawings, and touch gestures as if you would interact with the mirror's source itself. Note: Pen/touch support now reliably works in Windows 10 only
- Multi-monitor Background, Slideshow Screen Saver: The "shrink to fit" mode is added to the "Wallpaper position" option. For images larger than their host monitor, it works the same as the "proportional stretch" mode, whereas the images smaller than the host monitor are shown as is in the center of the monitor
- Window Actions: The ability is added to turn off automatic semi-transparency on deactivation or mouse hovering for a certain window (see the "Options - Transparency" submenu in window's context menu)
- Virtual Desktops: The ability is added to keep the Virtual Desktop Switcher's position while toggling it on/off via hotkey: turn off the newly added "Show the switcher near mouse pointer" option in the "Virtual Desktops" panel to make the switcher stop following the mouse and stay where you left it last time

Changed:
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: Compatibility is improved with newer builds (18885+)
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: Jump List support for UWP apps is finally implemented
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: Now taskbars look correct in the Light visual theme
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: Action Center, Sound Volume and Network windows now move to a monitor where a corresponding icon has been clicked

- Configuration, Desktop Divider: When copying a tile layout in Tiles editor between monitors with different resolutions, tiles' relative sizes were not preserved

Actual Window Manager 8.13.3
- Windows 10 build 17763+: System SmartScreen process ate up to 100% CPU resources when Actual Multiple Monitors was running.
- Window Settings: Exclusions stopped working since the version 8.13.
- Configuration: Specific Settings editing windows now are truly independent of the main Configuration window: - clicking the Apply button in such window now immediately saves the changes (no need to click Apply in the main window as well) - after closing the main window these windows remain fully functional
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: In some cases, after changing the desktop geometry (i.e. positions/resolutions of secondary monitors) windows on secondary monitors got squeezed either vertically or horizontally.
- Actual Taskbar, Windows 10: In individual mode, after switching system virtual desktops task buttons of windows from inactive desktops on secondary monitors appeared in the system taskbar.
- Actual Taskbar: Icons on extra taskbar buttons (Search, Recycle Bin, Ink Workspace, Input Language Switch) flipped in systems with right-to-left writing languages (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.).
- Title Buttons, Windows 10: Glyphs on extra buttons flipped in systems with right-to-left writing languages (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.).
- Title Buttons: Extra buttons did not update properly after toggling any of them on/off in the Aero visual theme in systems with right-to-left writing languages (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.).
- Title Buttons, Windows 10 build 17763+: - extra buttons appeared in wrong place if any of secondary monitors was located in negative screen coordinates - extra buttons overlapped the system ones in maximized windows of Microsoft Office 2007 apps and might cause temporary hanging when moving the mouse over the overlapped Minimize button - glyphs on extra buttons blended with title bar in the Dark visual theme if the "Show color on title bar" system option was off
- Title Buttons, Windows 10 Insider build 18267+: - glyphs on extra buttons blended with title bar if the "Show color on title bar" system option was off - extra buttons did not react on changing the system accent color
- Title Buttons: Mozilla Firefox 50+/Quantum might hang when displaying content-rich pages.

- Windows 10: In some cases the Task View window might get broken when Actual Window Manager was set to load at system startup.

- Windows 10, Title Buttons: After switching a UWP app from full-screen to windowed, the extra buttons did not show in its title bar.
- Windows 10, Quick Settings: Quick Settings dialog could not be invoked for a UWP app window by a click on its title bar.
- Window Settings: After applying the "At Window Startup - Lock Mouse" action to a window and then closing it, the mouse remained locked within the closed window's rectangle.
- Configuration: The "Global Options - Start Program" panel accidentally got broken in the previous version.

App Builder 2020.31
- Add the new DecSoft Clipboard app plugin, which provide us a way to check if the clipboard is ready to use in the current browser / platform, and, also a method to copy certain specified text into the clipboard
- Made some changes around the recent files and favorite files. Now, when open a recent file, that file become the first in the recent list, which is probably what we expected. Before this change the recent file don't move the position in the recent list


App Builder 2020.30
- Add the new "CordovaPushNotifications" sample app, which show how we can use the phonegap-plugin-push Apache Cordova plugin, in order to receive push notifications in our apps, which are deployed in platforms like Android and iOS
- Add the new DecSoft Analytics app plugin, which can integrate Google Analytics into your app. This plugin, as Google Analytics, works in all platforms and can give us a very good idea about how our app is used by the users
- Add a button in the app options / app plugins tab, which allows to open the app plugins help directly from that place. The IDE already link to the available plugins help in the index of contents of the product help, however, the referred button can be also a good thing

- We are very proud to introduce the first DecSoft App Builder release which has support for thirdparty app plugins. In this new generation of DecSoft App Builder, we want to go ahead, and, the app plugins can be perfectly integrated in the IDE, can offer global stuff (useful methods for the app, for example), and also components / controls, which play in the same league than the "out of the box" controls: can be edited using the controls properties and style inspector, and, of course can have events, ready to be edited in the IDE Javascript code editor, just like any other "out of the box" controls. Support thirdparty plugins become a hard work, but, we are happy with the final result, and, in fact DecSoft App Builder already incorporates the first plugin, provided by DecSoft, a "SelectEx" control, similar to the "Select" control which is already available, but, including certain useful feature, as you can see in the app plugin's help, which is also integrated in the IDE, as you can see in the new sections of the help Index of contents.
- Other minor changes, fixes and enhancements has been made also in this release, while we work in the app plugins integration

- Fix a bug in the assigment of the app views events: by a mistake not all the app views events works as expected and this release fix this issue
- Prepare the currently available Apache Cordova plugins stuff (basically the information that the plugins add into the code editor Quick list) to be translated in the future into another languages

- Some minor changes, fixes and enhancements. Perform the default fade / slide animation for the apps dialogs, which appear too much better than leave it without these feature. Allow to edit the app languages from the App languages manager. We can now change both language codes and names. Also in the App languages manager, indicates the language of the original piece of code to be translated, and, the language that is expected in the translation, according to the currently editing app language

- Add the App resources into the editor Quick list, which means that we can now easily see the available App resources and also insert the right "app.resource()" method in the code editor in order to get the desired App resource value
- Fix various bug and mistakes in the App files manager, which get confused when deal with Javascript and stylesheet files, causing a malfunction of the App files manager in various aspects. Now the App files manager works as expected now
- Add the new sample app "Pannellum", which show how to use the Pannellum library (the tour mode, in particular) in our apps. Pannellum is a lightweight, free, and open source panorama viewer for the web. Built using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and WebGL, it is plug-in free

- Introducing the Key Store files tool (IDE Main Menu -> Tools -> New Key Store file), which allows to create the Key Store files to be used to sign and additionally publish our Android apps in stores like Google Play. Document the tool in the program help file too

The problem occur because some expected files cannot be found, since the installation assistant are not including it. App Builder 2019.48
- Made certain change in the configuration file for Apache Cordova in order to allow us to use the "edit-config" configuration tag inside the app Cordova -> Extra XML option. It's possible to use the "edit-config" before, but, not specifically to made changes in the AndroidManifest.xml file, or, at least some changes, like adding attributes to the "application" tag. Now it's completely possible to perform this kind of changes.

- Fix an introduced error in the previous release that can cause problems if your app use the jQuery library. We encourage you to upgrade to this new release to fix this possible error

- Made certain changes in order to allow the app to continue working as a Web Extension in browsers different than Google Chrome. Look at the WebExtension app sample, which has been updated in order to properly work, including the usage of the jQuery library inside the Web Extension content.js script
- Avoid to create the android_sign.json if no signed information has been provided in the app options. There is no problem with that file at all, except for some notice than appear when compile the app with Apache Cordova. That notice can be completely ignored, but, can result a bit annoying to someone who already knows that the signed information has not been provided, maybe because we are only testing some app

- Avoid to update the debugger inspector if the IDE is not in the foreground. This is a try to avoid certain ugly access violation (difficult to catch) that sometimes occur when debug the app in external browsers

- Fix an introduced bug in the previous release which can cause that the normal CSS style of a control become missing if we use the Hover and the Focus CSS style at the same time


App Builder 2019.43
- Fix a bug in the DecSoft App Builder's compiler which cause that the controls' CSS appear duplicates in the final app's scaled and fixed CSS stylesheets. In fact we can't appreciate the problem... since the controls' CSS are extrictly duplicated, so we can't see anything rare in the app, however, certainly the duplicate CSS code is no needed and waste space and maybe can cause some possbile issue in some specific scenarios


App Builder 2019.42
- Add the new "MinLength" variable to the TypeAhead control. This variable determine the minimum characters length which the user must type in the TypeAhead control, before the TypeAhead shown the possible matches list
- Remove the duplicate of the "Designtime" category of variables / properties in the Container control. In other words, before this fix the Container control shown a couple of "Designtime" categories in the object inspector. Some other fixes has been made around the Container control too

Also in this CLI compiler, a possible error has fixed, which only occur if we try to use the CLI compiler and the program's requisites are not the expected ones: the expected behaviour is to receive the right error message, but, before this change the console window is just closed without further notice

Take care when you deal with this kind of input from the user: the input HTML can break your own app's HTML... so maybe it's a good idea to only allow some formatting tags like strong, em, etc. Anyway, you must validate the user's input in all cases: and if that input can contain HTML, double validate it
- Add the new AfterEffectsJSON app sample (number 189 in App Builder). This app sample shown how we can reproduce Adobe After Effects animations in our apps. BodyMovin is a program which allows to export animations created with Adobe After Effects into JSON. Including the BodyMovin Javascript library and provide to it the referred JSON, it's possible to reproduce the created animation in our apps
- Add the new Report20 app sample (number 188 in App Builder). This app sample shown how we can save the Report's scroll top position when change to another view, and then, when back to this view, set the Report's scroll top position, if needed. We can view also in this sample how we can show another view with the selected Report's record information (even more than what we can show in the report itself, if we wanted)

- The referred enhancement in the App Builder compiler not only allows to compile our apps up to 85% faster, but the compilation time scale now in a better way too, in other words, no matter if our apps have 10, 100 or 200 views : the compilation time become the same, since App Builder compile now only the modified views
- The above enhancements in the App Builder compiler provide a better work flow now. In a real app that we are developing, with 162 views (and growing), before this release they take 19 seconds in order to compile. - Add a new checkbox into the program's options dialog / compiler, in order to allows to choose to hide the new app's compiler cache directory or not. By default the compiler cache directory appear hidden, in the same folder than the app's compiled directory and the app's backup directory.

This is fixed now, by written the appropriate "viewport" meta tag. This problem has been probably introduced some releases ago, and some customers report to me. Thanks to all!
- Add the icons' "sizes" argument into the Progressive Web Apps JSON manifest. Apparently this argument is requied in order to allows Chrome for Mobile to pick the right icon for our app, when add it as an Progressive Web App

Fixed:
- The HistoryBack and the HistoryForward actions don't cause the [App.CurrentView] to be properly set, which is the expected behaviour. Only the ShowView and ReplaceView actions causes the [App.CurrentView] to be properly set. This has been fixed now and all these actions causes the [App.CurrentView] to be filled properly
- The [App.DialogView] variable are not filled in the proper way when more than one dialog view are open (one after another). This variable store an empty string when a second modal view is closed. This problem has been fixed and the [App.DialogView] stores the current modal view or an empty string (if any modal view is opened)
- If we pass some params to an app view the [App.CurrentView] variable are not filled in the right way, and include the params inside the variable, which is not what we can expected. This problem has been solved too in this DecSoft's App Builder release

The IDE icon picker dialog as well the apps can now use up to 929 icons from the FontAwesome pack, including all the Regular, Solid and Brands icons. This action did not take in consideration the type of the variables, then we can use this action to copy or assign variables of any type. For example, we can copy or assign an variable B of the type Array, Object, etc. into the specified variable A.
- Change the debug layout dock panels positions. Instead of place all the debug related dock panels at the button and using tabs, now the debug related dock panels are placed at the right. The enhancement is that they are not placed now in tabs, then we can see by a quick view all the debug related panels, without the need to change any tab.

- Fix an anoying bug that causes the code editor indentation do not work as expected when we choose an App Builder action from the code editor autocomplete list.
- Enhance the ApplyModel action in order to try to avoid Angular JS "digest" problem when that action are "abused" or not used properly in the right place. Since the error that can cause this action can affect the app behaviour, this fix try to avoid these problems.

- Added the new FileDownload app sample (number 168). This sample show us how to download an file into the user device storage (to be available for the user) and also download an image file in the app private storage (to be used only by the app).
- Added the Apache Cordova plugin FileTransfer into the app options dialog, under the Cordova / General / Plugins options. This plugin has been added primarely to be used by the new FileDownload action, but can also be used for other purposes too.
- Added the new action FileDownload, which allow us to download files in both the app private storage and the user device storage. See the FileDownload action help reference for more information and details.
- Added an header in all the generated Batch and Shell files for Apache Cordova with the App Builder version and release number. Just for information purposes.
- From some releases ago App Builder pick the app icon to be used as the splash screen of the app, if an specific splash screen is not specified. However, App Builder do not include the appropriate Apache Cordova plugin to show the app splash screen. This is fixed now.

- Add the new FrontCamera, FlipButton and TorchButton variables / options to the Barcode control. The Barcode app samples has been enhanced in order to shown the usage of these new variables / options of the Barcode control.
