- With the introduction of the new home screen, customers can now explore a more extensive range of apps beyond compression, gain easy access to a new ideas portal, and tour the self-serve knowledge base. Additionally, new product information and updates are always readily available for customers to stay informed and up to date.
Submit and vote on ideas:
- WinZip customer satisfaction is a priority. Now, ideas and suggestions can be submitted directly in the app and others’ ideas can also be voted on. The WinZip team will review and consider ideas for future implementation. Customer feedback matters, and we are committed to making WinZip even better based on the valuable insights we receive.
WinZip Secure Backup:
- WinZip enables secure data backup and recovery to prevent loss from hardware failures, software bugs, human error, and natural disasters, ensuring files can be easily accessed in the event of an emergency. Now, customers can more easily back up folders with a simple right-click.
Sharing with SafeShare:
- WinZip SafeShare simplifies file sharing via email by enabling customers to easily attach or link their files. Files can be encrypted with a password and set with an expiration date to prevent unauthorized access. Additionally, personal data can be removed, watermarks added, and PDF files combined. Now, emails are formatted in a more user-friendly way and recipients will receive more relevant details.
Scan files for threats:
- With the latest update, WinZip introduced a seamless scanning feature that enables customers to effortlessly check both encrypted and unencrypted zip files before unzipping. This added layer of security helps protect devices from potential malware or ransomware threats. Now, users can enjoy a worry-free experience, knowing that WinZip is actively working to safeguard their files and devices from harmful content.
PDF Express:
- WinZip PDF Express is a versatile software tool for efficient PDF management. It offers features like conversion, merging, editing, security, and easy file sharing. It’s now possible to comment or annotate on a new or existing PDF file. Users can also easily fill out interactive forms; and manually add their signature and comments to non-interactive ones.
